First things first, why start this blog?
I travel a lot around the Midwest for work. As such, I am forced to endure the torments of poor quality food in various parts of this United States. I thought that maybe I could pass along some of the good and bad places that I have eaten, and hopefully save you the same pain and suffering I have endured.
My Background: I am an engineer, and a good cook. I was blessed with growing up in the South Jersey area with the Italians and Greeks and the home of the diner. The place where you can get a full course meal at any time of the day and night. This is the mecca of good food, no matter what other people say. This gave me a base to work with, and as you know talking to most engineers, they are not afraid to tell you the truth, or the truth as they see it. Am I an expert on food? No, but I'm the best you're going to get.
Also, I have eaten a lot of Sisco food - this is the prefab food that the Applebee's and Chi-Chi's of the world serve. This is the best of the worst. You know what you're going to get, but you're not looking forward to it. I avoid these like the plague. So I won't waste my time rating those. They are all exactly the same, and they all suck. Also McDonald's makes good coffee, but after that you're out of luck.
How this will work - I am going to list the locations by state and town, then restaurant and address. This will allow you to find them by location if you want to try them.
So good luck and good eating.
